I had the same exact problem with my battery. I followed your instructions on doing a reset and now my battery is charging again. It was completely drained though, looks like the issue had to do with charging connectivity.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys.

I tried everything in my vast arsenal of gadget tinkery (I am no novice when it comes to electronic devices) with no luck.

However, it is now charging again! I held the reset button (small pinhole on bottom) in for a few seconds with the power on, shut it down, removed power supply, pressed the power button, and the charging indicator flashed for a brief second. I plugged the adapter back in, and it is charging!

It should be fully charged when I get home tonight.

I tried all above tricks to get my battery charging again to no avail.

Anyone in Orange County, CA have a CR-48 I could swap batteries with for a few minutes to reset my unit so it will charge? I was at FETC last week and a Chrome tech guru frome the Chrome booth said that would work... Also I will be in Austin, TX next week if anyone is down there?
