    Wiping main user out

Hi, It looks quite weird, but this is absolutely real: this morning I received my Samsung Wifi Chromebook from Amazon UK. I obviously thought that I would receive a brand new unused device but ... there was a user installed already. So I am not the proprietary and I cannot change the settings. Any suggestion about how wiping that pre existing user out so I can become my own Chromebook proprietary?

    Where's Developer Mode Switch? - Samsung Series 5 3G Chromebook - iFixit

Flip this switch. Turn on the computer. This will erase the stateful partition.
Once complete, flip the switch back (if you don't want to stay in developer mode) and the device will erase the stateful partition again. You can then use the Chromebook as it was "OOBE" (Out of box experience).
    No, no... that's ignorant!

But if it erases the partition, how can I make it work again?

You don't need to do anything... flipping the switch only deletes the information within the "stateful" partition - where things like usernames, passwords, downloaded files, and local information is stored. When you delete this, ChromeOS automatically deletes the information from this partition, and allows you to start fresh. It's part of the beauty of these devices, you can easily loose your information and retrieve it all back from the "Cloud".

Thank you, res6jya6. And I even found this official information from Chrome OS: Clear local user data : Troubleshoot issues - Chrome OS Help

It appears the used Chromebook I purchased already has the dev switch broken off :-(

It came to me reset and I've been using my own profile since, but now want to wipe it. I followed the instructions in the link in the previous post but there is no "Factory Reset" section" under Advanced Settings. Can anybody help?
